Like the track; wish these venues were closer.
come to Berlin!
Caught the last two songs after word-of-mouth told me that the show was going on just down the rail road trax from the 8-ball… When I asked people ‘how did you hear about this place, and this gig?’ -people’s body language locked up and the conversation turned into a long unnecessary pause as I apparently was no ‘in the loop’… Oi vey, I leave Seattle, WA finally free of the pretentious passive-aggressive stand offish clicks… to enter Ann Arbor’s pretentious passive-aggressive stand offish clicks. ‘Liberal’ or ‘Conservative’ we are all just different versions of being a consumer, instead of an American. I miss the sense of community that live music used to perpetuate during the 90′s…
Man, if doesn’t have to be ‘grunge’, but GOD please bring back ‘community’ in ‘live music’… Maybe tha’D is still cool…??? Will find out next weekend after I spend the next five days as an economic unit that makes up the person . What good is going to see this band play if the people going there are that picky about who they talk to and how others look -(its cool to look/be however you want, but damn if not well over the majority at this venue didn’t think their shit didn’t smell… WOW.)
‘Here’s to the cumbl’n of America!
